Cast On Magazine
Dear TKGA Members,
We have made so much progress in a relatively short amount of time. For the winter issue we had to rely solely on volunteers for the designs and technical editing. Nevertheless, the response to our call for help was amazing, which is one reason the issue had so many designs.
I am proud to announce that our financial position has improved to the point where we can pay our designers and technical editor, and for this reason, this issue does not have quite as many designs. We respect our members too much not to carefully manage our resources.
We have made some changes to the Table of Contents. We’ve added thumbnail photographs for each item. Regular features like Skill Building and Fashion Framework will use the same icons in every issue. The thumbnail icons will also be used to designate categories of articles. For example, the Nuts and Bolts icon will identify a technical article. You can click on either the photograph or the text to make your choice.
Be sure to try out the links embedded in the patterns and articles which provide additional educational material. Also at the end of every pattern you will find a link back to the Table of Contents and to a PDF version of the pattern or article for easy download.
